Jeffrey Butscher is a writer and producer of film and television. His bug with the entertainment business goes back to his early adulthood when his first taste was an extra on Brian De Palma's Blow Out, starring John Travolta. Fast-forward forty years, Butscher's original story and screenplay entitled: Timecrafters: The Treasure of Pirate's Cove, a Family Adventure-Fantasy, was released in over 500 theaters through Fathom Events (Dec. 2020). The film is available on VOD (cable and streaming) starting May 14th through his domestic distributor, Quiver Film Distribution. Voltage Pictures is the foreign sales agent. The cast includes Denise Richards, Malcolm McDowell, Eric Balfour, Lew Temple, Patrick Muldoon, and some fantastic young talent, including Casey Simpson, Ricky Harper, on the hit Nickelodeon series Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. Butscher is currently developing and negotiating a feature sequel, which he will write and produce. Jeffrey Butscher just completed (2021) an original story and screenplay for the big screen, entitled Serial Killer Number One, an Action, Si-Fi, Thriller. He has three television shows in development. Butscher was an Executive Producer on the reality TV show Red Hot Design, on A&E's FYI Channel. He also produced the feature films The Adventures of Ragtime and One More Shot. Butscher is a PhD student in Psychology and finds a scientific foundation and inspiration in his writings from his background as a Mathematician, with recent studies at MIT in Artificial Intelligence.
