Jeff Pucillo is an actor, producer, husband and father of two. He recently finished playing the lead role in the Domenica Cameron-Scorsese film "Roots in Water" which he also produced. The film was an official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival. He played the lead role in the feature film "The Standard Man" and also can be seen in "Memories of Overdevelopment," an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival. Jeff has appeared in many TV shows including "Rescue Me," "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and more. On stage he performed in The Transport Group's Off-Broadway production of "Bury the Dead" as well as countless productions at some of New York City's most prestigious theaters and theater companies.Jeff is a native New Yorker who hails from a blue-collar Staten Island family comprised of cops, firemen, sanitation, transit and other city workers and he can trace his lineage back to Jacob Wynant, one of the original Dutch settlers of New Amsterdam. He holds a degree in Advertising from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University where he was also the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and songwriter in the band "The Ghettos". In the course of his life he has worked in an astonishing variety of jobs and industries including spending five years as a stockbroker at one of Wall Street's most notorious firms, three years as a recording engineer in New York's SoHo neighborhood at one of hip-hop's most influential recording studios, seven years as a computer programmer and five years in consumer research at America's largest magazine publisher. He has also worked shorter stints as a house painter, soda jerk, and gas station attendant, and as an industrial machine tool salesman he was swindled out of a half-million dollar hydraulic press in the flatlands of southern Texas. He works on vintage cars and motorcycles for relaxation. His varied background has led to a fascination with character and story and has led to many ideas for film, television, online and stage properties that he develops with his partner at 102 Stories LLC, Russell Pflueger.
