The youngest of three, Jason Liles was born on July 4, 1987 in Memphis, TN and grew up in Germantown. Although he and his older brother, Jordan, made short films regularly as kids with a handy cam, it wasn't until 2008 at the age of 21-years-old that he began studying theatre in college.Jason moved to New York, NY in 2009 to pursue a career as an actor. He booked dozens of short films, a national Allstate commercial helping him join the union SAG-AFTRA, and worked with 7-time Oscar-winning makeup artist Rick Baker on Men In Black III playing several aliens throughout the production.Jason's roles in MIB III, gaining a mentor in Doug Jones, and his unique height of 6'9" helped him realize a niche playing non-human characters in prosthetics and performance capture.Jason moved to LA in 2015 to be closer to many special effects makeup artists and quickly became known for major roles such as Ryuk the death god in Death Note (shared with the voice of Willem Dafoe), George the albino gorilla alongside Dwayne Johnson in Rampage, King Ghidorah the three-headed dragon in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Chatterer in Hellraiser, Star Trek: Picard, and more.Although known mainly for his work under prosthetics and visual effects, he has also played "himself" in films such as Aftermath playing the lead antagonist and guest starring on shows like Dream Corp LLC.Jason is married to his wife Allie and lives in California.
