A Writer, Cinematographer and a multi award winning Director he is also a partner in M.G.Cinecraft, a NYC based Indie production house. Jamaal was inspired by the works of Hitchcock, and writes and directs narratives that fall into the suspense/thriller genre.Jamaal's brand of story telling is rooted in the suspenseful folklore of Trinidad and Barbados, where morality stories passed down from parent to child came with a chilling lesson on why one should always do the right thing.. "To raise the audience's heart rate" is his cinematic goal.
