Born in Calgary, Alberta, Jamaal is a Toronto-based actor known for several TV commercials and roles in various Canadian and U.S. TV shows, such as Lost Girl, An Officer & A Murderer, The Jon Dore Show, Dan for Mayor, Nikita, InSecurity, Good God, and Gangland Undercover.Jamaal graduated with a BFA in Acting from the University of Windsor. With his acceptance letter came several scholarships and the Frances Hyland Award, granted to the applicant with the best overall entry audition. Upon graduation Jamaal continued classes at the Pro Actors Lab and the Second City's training program, where he was a scholarship recipient.
