Jacqueline Cartier
Jacqueline Cartier was born on Jul 22, 1922 in France. Jacqueline Cartier's big-screen debut came with Les Duraton directed by André Berthomieu in 1955.
Jacqueline Gauthier was the daughter of the Comédie-Française's general stage manager so she very naturally became an actress - at a very early age into the bargain. She later was a "pensionnaire" (member) of the famous French theater company and after appearing in a few films from the age of twelve. But writing was another passion and when she started writing articles for the press, she discovered she liked that even more than acting. She became an important journalist and gradually disappeared from the world of spectacle to shine in that of the written press, never regretting her move.
