Jacob Louis is an American Actor, Singer, Teacher and Stage Director. He was born on July 30, 1985 in Brownsville, Texas to Lydia Barrera and Julio Garcia Jr. His mother is a retired 5th grade Elementary Teacher and his father is a Professor of Respiratory Thearapy at Del Mar College where they currently reside in Corpus Christi, Texas.Jacob started acting at the age of 6 at his local community theatre The Harbor Playhouse in Corpus Christi, Texas. Growing up he also participated in competitive swimming,baseball, volleyball and soccer. He attended Richard King High School class of 2004, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Class of 2010 with a B.A. in Theatre and a B.A. in Theatre Education with his Certification K-12. He is currently a UCLA MFA Acting 2021 Graduate Candidate. He was a Theatre Educator for 9 years teaching in various places but most prominently at Marietta High School in Marietta, GA.Jacob is a recipient of the Hollywood Foreign Press Acting Scholarship as Well as the Hugh Downs Acting for Television Scholarship and resides both in Los Angeles, CA. and Atlanta, GA.
