Jack Lait was born on Mar 13, 1883 in USA. Jack Lait's big-screen debut came with Help Wanted directed by Hobart Bosworth in 1915.
Lait was the editor of the "New York Daily and Sunday Mirror" and was known as one of the leading newspapermen of the era. He later worked as an executive for the Hearst newspapers. In 1953 he was confined to his home with a circulatory ailment which eventually took his life. Writer of five plays that appeared on Broadway.
