Jaala was born in a small town in Cornwall, England to creative parents. Her father being a successful musician, she always had a love for the arts. She became a dancer at a young age and performed with several companies, but gave this up to go to film school at the age of 19.After graduating Jaala was offered a modeling contract in Sydney, Australia where she lived for a year before returning to London and becoming a TV Host for Fashion TV. Jaala then decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue acting where her talent was quickly noticed when she booked a lead role in the Warner Bros movie, 'Dam 999' just a few weeks after arriving.
