Born in Vranje, Serbia (then Yugoslavia) and spent her early childhood in Vranje. When she was 6 yrs old family moved to Split, Croatia. Her mum is Serbian, her dad Croatian. She started acting when she was a child, joining a youth drama group "Tito's sailors" After finishing high school she came to London to study acting.
