Son of Guillermo Feo Calcaño, renowned Venezuelan theater critic (1918-2015), Iván Feo García (Caracas, March 3, 1947), a.k.a. "ivanfeo", is a film director, screenwriter, producer and actor, author of three films: País Portátil (1978), Ifigenia, la película (1987), and Tosca, la verdadera historia (2001). Also a publicist and a college professor, the latter being a profession he achieved to combine with filmmaking in the School of Arts of the Central University of Venezuela. From this blended effort resulted his two latest films, Ifigenia and Tosca, that stand out in their condition of "School-Films". He graduated in Literature from the Humanities and Education Faculty of the Central University of Venezuela, and is a retired Film Professor in the School of Arts of the same faculty. His last two academic promotions were granted because of his teaching experiences with the School-Films: Ifigenia and Tosca. Both movies proudly feature as their first credit: "The Central University of Venezuela presents". Iván Feo is still closely related to the university world and is currently renewing those bonds with a poetic, dramatic and powerful script, "Arcadia Blues", which he aspires to materialize, despite his country's delicate social and economic situation.
