Igor Korosec was born on Mar 24, 1972 in Slovenia. Igor Korosec's big-screen debut came with The Good German directed by Steven Soderbergh in 2006, strarring Russian Soldier. Igor Korosec ['egor ko'roshez] has graduated Summa cum Laude from Russian Academy of Dramatic Arts in Moscow in 1996.He is an actor and educator who is working as a Private On-Set Acting Coach for the American Artists Group, Actors' Acting Academy and as an acting instructor at UCLA Extension. His biggest acting teaching conquest was producing the First Acting Seminar for Blind and Vision-Impaired People, where he was also the lead instructor and mentor. Igor has been teaching acting throughout Europe and in USA, working with diverse groups and individuals.He has appeared on shows such as Grimm, Chuck, Alias, The Unit, Undercovers, and Rizzoli & Isles and in the feature The Good German starring George Clooney and Cate Blanchett.Igor is currently busy writing a book 'The Truth is in the Soul of Beholder' which guides student actors through a spiritual growth, which helps sharpening students' acting technique.Stanislavski said: "Love the art in yourself and not yourself in the art." Igor believes that learning Stanislavski technique of acting is directly connected with living the truth in order to grow your love for the art inside of you.Igor's teaching goal is to make his student actors feel comfortable and confident about expressing their true themselves in any and all 'suggested circumstances' that actors may encounter.Filled with all the appreciation to his teachers at Russian Academy of Dramatic Arts he feels the call to continue their legacy, expertise and love for truth.
