Huda El Mufti is a prominent Egyptian actress with an extensive repertoire. She rose to fame after playing the role of Nadine in Haza Al Masaa (This Evening) by Tamer Mohsen in Ramadan 2017. Her spontaneity as an actress drew the attention of the audiences and filmmakers alike, which subsequently landed her different roles in films and TV dramas.Huda studied Drama and Theatre Criticism at The Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University. She started her career as a model and fashion blogger at the age of 17. Her love for acting drove her to audition for many TV ads. This allowed her to rub shoulders with some of Egypt's most prominent directors including Tamer Mohsen.Following her breakthrough in 2017, Huda landed in two TV hits working with many key stars; Ka'eno Embareh (Like It Was Yesterday) (2018) where she played the role of Lina, a kind-hearted girl in her 20s; the role received great acclaim from the audience and the whole series was a massive success; and Ladayna Akwalon Okhra (We Have Further Comments) (2018), alongside Egyptian superstars Yousra and Shereen Reda.In 2019, El Mufti starred in the five-episode- story, Ma Teegy Ya Meligy, in the third season of the multiple-themed TV drama Naseeby W Esmetak (My Destiny, Your Fate) by director Mostafa Fekry and screenwriter Amr Mahmoud Yassin. The first film was Ras El Sana (New Year's Eve); written by Mohamed Hefzy and directed by Mohamed Sakr, Huda played the role of Sirin, a rich and bold open-minded girl who gets in trouble way over her head. The other film was Banat Sanawy (High School Girls), by director Mahmoud Kamel and writer Ayman Salama, which tackled the lives of five girls in high school, Huda, playing one of the five girls, presented the role of a spoiled girl that pushes her hard-working father to work more to get her what she wants. The two films presented a great example of Huda's outstanding ability to play complex and different characters.In Ramadan 2020, she starred in Valentino TV drama, opposite the legendary Adel Imam where she played the role of Nabaweyya, a strict hard-working student who doesn't pay much attention to the usual girls' issue and focuses more on reading and space science.Huda's latest works include the first Egyptian Netflix original series Paranormal by Amr Salama, Tahqeeq with Ahmed Malek on Watch iT platform, and Nemra Etnein with Ahmed Malek and Menna Shalaby on Shahid.net.In 2019, she finished shooting the new comedy-fantasy, Dido with Karim Fahmy.
