Through his career, he won several awards for his parts in movies like "Tinerete fara batranete", "Sluga la doi stapan", "Muntele", "Eulenspiegel" etc.Beside his movies and theater plays, Horatiu Malaele took up writing with his auto-biography book "Horatiu despre Malaele" and later, in 2012, publishing the novel "Rataciri" (Wanders).
