Helena Ganjalyan is a Polish / Armenian screen and stage actress, dancer and choreographer. She was born in Yerevan, Armenia but at age 3 she moved to Poland with her parents. She graduated from The Ludwik Solski State Drama School in Cracow, Poland - Acting and Dance Theatre Department (Master of Arts degree). She took place at the exchange with the University of Nothern Iowa Acting Department. Helena began acting at a young age in local theaters in Poland staring in productions such as Electra, Romeo & Juliet and Cinderella among others, and trained as a ballet and ballroom dancer at the State Ballet School in Gdansk. She began her professional acting career by appearing in Polish short films but also appearing in feature films, working with such directors as Marcin Wrona, Waldemar Krzystek, Jolanta Dylewska. In 2011 she received a Scholarship of Ministry of Cutlure and National Heritage for artistic achievements, Gdansk Culture Scholarship and Silesian Marshal Culture Scholarship. She performed in numerous theatre projects in Wybrzeze Theatre in Gdansk, Modrzejewska Theatre in Legnica, Dada von Bzdulow Theatre, Capitol Theatre in Wroclaw. Although one of the most meaningful experiences for her was a work with world - renowned director Romeo Castellucci/Societas Raffaello Sanzio.
