Heather J. Braden is a model, actress, producer, director of British, Italian, French, Egyptian descent. Born in Colorado, then raised in Oregon and England. She is the first USA born family member on both sides of her family. She is related to Italian born super model and actress Elisa Sednaoui, and French director, photographer, actor Stepane Sednaoui, of the Sednaouis family of Egypt. Her mother's family immigrated from England to Canada, then the United States in the 1970s. Braden found her interest in the entertainment industry at an early age in school performances and began local modeling jobs in Portland Oregon as a teen runaway at age 15. Braden worked in and around local photography and film productions in Portland for up and coming photographers, artists and director Gus Van Sant. Eventually moving to New York City to continue studying voice, modeling, theater, acting. Braden soon signed with Next Models and CESD talent agency, then Wilhelmina in NYC, where she was cast in modeling advertisements and television commercials. She modeled for Levis, Wrangler, Michael Kors, and countless magazines, commercials, and advertising clients between the US, EU, and Latin America. In 2018 she returned to modeling and TV appearances as a full size plus model and actress, and began speaking to youth groups and youth runaways about body image and homelessness and in development stages for TV series Beautiful, based on her experiences as a teen model among powerful predators.
