HAYLEY SALES is an American/Canadian award-winning and internationally acclaimed actress, singer-songwriter and producer (Universal Music Group). "A virtuoso performance; each song radiates with a quality both intimate yet powerful" (The Mirror, UK 2021) Hearing her classic voice for the first time, you can tell she has paved her own way; through the velvety hints of Motown and the bold romance of early jazz, the music of Hayley Sales breathes new life into the vintage sounds of the classic pop. An artist through and through, she has had to take the long way; carefully crafting her songs to match the unabashed honesty of a born performer. When she sings, the audience is transported into a timeless romance, emboldened by lessons in overcoming adversity. As a teenager, Sales signed with UMG and went on to released two self-penned, self-produced records that hit the Top 40 charts in Canada, Japan and Australia. During this time, Sales toured internationally with Jason Mraz, INXS, Feist, The Spice Girls, Donavon Frankenreiter and many more. In 2016, her career came to a dramatic pause. The label experienced a staff turnover, and as a result her third record was shelved. She was prohibited from buying it back. Nevertheless, the setbacks only made her more determined. In Spring 2021, Sharon Stone and Sales released their first co-write, NEVER BEFORE, the first single from Sales' highly anticipated, double record, 'Ricochet" (2022). The single went on to grab the attention of Billboard and Rolling Stone along with other highly acclaimed press outlets. Billboard heralded the tune as "a track that fits squarely into the Great American Songbook-lane thanks to straightforward lyrics and a heart-swooning melody that achieved their goal of telling an elegant, no-fuss love story. (Billboard 2021). The success of this single led to an opportunity to join Rufus Wainwright on his UK and European tour (2021-2022). Sales was featured by ASCAP / Sundance as a featured artist in their showcase and likewise by SOCAN in their newly launched Artist Spotlight series. Parallel to her music career, Sales has trained extensively in the Meisner Technique with AADA, spent several years as a part of both The Oregon Shakespeare Company and Tygers Heart Shakespeare Company and most recently stars alongside Bruce Willis and Michael Rooker in the Tubi feature film, "Corrective Measures," which premiered April 2022.
