Gustavo Melllo is the producer of Letters to a Book Thief (Globo Filmes / GloboNews), documentary film selected for Rio Int'l Film Festival and Mostra de São Paulo. Director and executive producer of the docuseries A Grande Luta and Em Nome Dos Pais (HBO), the docudrama Medical Confessions (Discovery Channel), Desengaveta (GNT), docu-reality series Lowrider Brasil (Discovery Channel) and executive producer for the live action kids series Zoo da Zu (Discovery Kids). For TV Globo, he was in charge of the local version of The Audience (iTV), Residents 1 and the segments of Dr. Drauzio Varella. Still for TV Globo, he was responsible for specials for Globo Marcas, CGCOM and SporTV. For Universal Channel and Syfy he is the executive producer of the format Cinelab, as well co-creator and producer of Cinelab Aprendiz. He is also the co-creator and producer of Um Dia de Chef (Food Network) and Criador de Celebridades (E! Entertainment). Currently, Gustavo Mello is spearheading the development of "The Chase," a dramatic series about Nazi hunters in the South America (in a co-production with the Canadian company Connect3) and "Rota", the first Boutique's fiction feature film.
