Gunnel Kristina Bohman, born March 4, 1959, in Stockholm, is a Swedish lyric soprano and a stage and screen actress. Bohman studied at the University College of Opera in Stockholm 1979-1981, plus one year at Folkoperan, before she built her career at various opera scenes in Europe. Gunnel Bohman is probably best known for her performances as Mikaela in "Carmen", Mimmi in "La Bohème" and as Agathe in "Der Freischütz". She has appeared in a few feature films, "Två killar och en tjej" (1983) and the movie versions of "Carmen" (1983) and "Don Juan" (2002).
