Gregory James Moorman was born and raised in Greenville, Mississippi. He began writing poetic-lyrics at the early age of 11 and taught himself to play guitar by age 12. In college his love for writing swayed from songs to stories. After writing his first screenplay, Broken California, he was asked to join the theatre by department head Alison Stafford.In 2006, after only two roles in the theatre, Gregory was led to Los Angles to start his career in acting.From 2006 to 2008 he landed many film roles; playing the boy-next-door in Our Lost Translation, the crazy sidekick in Going Nowhere Fast, and the disturbed leading male in Turning Point proved his range. Also he made his directorial debut with the film Happy Anniversary and his producing debut with Turning Point, in 2008.
