Gordon Court

Gordon came from a family of actors. His mother was on the stage. His brother, Morris (stage name Emerton Court) also started off in repertory, but his uncle (Roy Emerton) was perhaps the best known of the Emertons. Gordon preferred the stage to films, he also wrote many of his plays, although he did appear in many films, especially Will Hay and the Crazy Gang.
