Giorgio Capecchi (Livorno, August 7, 1902 - Rome, 29 August 1978) was an Italian actor and dubber. Stage and film actor of excellent preparation and culture, elder brother of the baritone Renato, debuted in theaters facing not only very young character roles, despite the remarkable temperament that could also allow the most important parts. A little balding, thin, with warm vocal and well set up, after starring on the radio, is dedicated to becoming one of the historic dubbing voices of the second generation of dubbing. A real star, who gave his voice from deep tones to large foreign actors, both characteristics, such as Louis Calhern, Eduardo Ciannelli, Karl Malden, George O'Brien, who first actors such as Charles Laughton, Jack Palance, Broderick Crawford, Edward G. Robinson, Orson Welles, Spencer Tracy and many others. He was also very active in the animated Disney film, playing the Mr. Lock in "Alice in Wonderland" (1951), Benjamin Franklin in "Ben and Me" (1953), King Hubert in "Sleeping Beauty" (1959), the the colonel in "One Hundred and One Dalmatians" (1961), Sir Hector in "The Sword in the Stone" (1963) and botheration in "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree" (1966).
