George Constantinou
George Constantinou was born on Jun 16, 1972 in Cyprus. George Constantinou's big-screen debut came with Akamas directed by Panikkos Hrysanthou in 2006, strarring Niazis (as Giorgos Konstadinou). George Constantinou is known for Diexodos directed by George Voulgaris, Nikolas Arkadiou stars as Guard and George Constantinou as Savvas. The upcoming new movie George Constantinou plays is Diexodos which will be released on Oct 11, 2011.
He studied theatre, between 2001-2004, at Vladimeros Kafkarides Theater School, in Nicosia (Cyprus). As an actor George worked for theatre productions, before and after his studies at the Drama School, such as the plays "Proof" (Directed by Stelios Kafkaridis) and "Vassilis Michaelidis" (Directed by Nikos Charalambous) staged at the Satirico Theater in the period 2002-2004, and the tragedy "Seven on Thebes" by Aeschylus, at THOK, directed by Varnavas Kyriazis (Cyprus, Epidaurus and Patras) in 2001. He also collaborated with comedian Louis Patsalidis , in stand up comedies in the period 2005-2008 and the "Lexi" Theater of Giorgos Tsiakkas, in "Twelfth Night". He participated in motion pictures such as "The Last Return", "Akamas" and "Exodus". In the documentary Missing Fetine (2017). And TV series, such as "The Square", "Galateas and Pygmalion", "The Heels", "Map Kebab", "Eurocypriots" and "Vassilis Michaelidis" on RIK, Sigma, Ant1 Cyprus and Mega (now Omega) Cyprus. He directed in the theater group "Proza" (2014-2017).He also studied Journalism, Public Relations and Marketing in Nicosia (Cyprus), at 'Europa College' (1991-1993). He has more than 25 years of experience as a journalist and photo journalist in established mass media outlets. He works as Communication Consultant since 2008 and he is also in charge of the Publications Department as well as the accounts of important communication projects and crisis management, for clients in the health, construction, banking, energy, petroleum sectors and the environment.
