Geo Saizescu was a famous Romanian film director,screenwriter and actor.He was born on November 14, 1932 in Prisaceaua, Romania. He graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1957.In 1958, he directed first movie Doi vecini.Other wellknown directed films :Un surîs în plina vara (1963),Pacala (1974),Secretul lui Bachus (1984).He was married with Avi Saizescu .His son, Catalin, is an actor, director and producer.He founded the Faculty of Arts at Hyperion University.He was decorated, in 2002, with the National Order "Faithful Service" in the rank of Knight.He died on September 23, 2013 in Bucharest, Romania.
