Born in San Francisco, California on March 18th 1974. Emigrated to the Netherlands at the age of 7. In 1995 Gabriel went to film school and achieved his Master of Arts degree in video and television. His graduation film 'Losing Face' is a short kung fu film that he made with a budget of less than 2000 euros. Losing Face was successful at several film festivals in the Netherlands.
