Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Nikia "Freshie" Squire is an American born actor, model, writer, director, cinematographer, editor and artist who, as of 2019, resides in Atlanta, GA. Growing up as an elite athlete and making it to the professional world with Team USA Track & Field and Team USA Bobsled & Skeleton, Freshie has always been involved with the arts. She started making music and writing poetry in 2006 and used her writing abilities to cope with depression. Once arriving on a college campus in Charlotte, NC, Freshie decided to dive into acting and filmmaking. In 2013 she created her own company Freshie Productions and between 2013-2016 she was involved with shows/movies such as 'The Other Side,' 'Last Chance,' 'sTelth.' In 2016 she was casted as Zoe in Serenity Shotz-produced 'Her Mrs.' With Last Chance (2015) being her first film she's ever written or produced, she decided to get more involved with series. January 1, 2017 she released Tyrone and by the end of the year she released season one of her first and most-known LGBT series Breathe. Followed by her more recent projects Gifted & Decisions. Her move to Atlanta, GA was a great one for her career, getting casted in Torn Between Lovers and Beautiful Pain Series. Not only working as a full-time creator with her company Freshie Productions, she's also Co-Owner of Lacie & Freshie Productions and the FOLD TV NETWORK. There's more to unfold with Freshie, as she also released her first album "For My Fans" on December 5th 2021.
