Born in Ridgewood, New Jersey on July 26 1963. Parents: Frederick W. Gaines and Patricia D. Gaines. Moved to Upper Darby, Pennsylvania (suburb of Philadelphia) in August 1963. Five sisters, two of which are twins. Parents were married for 58 years, at the time of his father's passing in 2016.Raised in Springfield, Pennsylvania. Stage acting in junior high school and senior high school. Attended Penn State University and earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a Major in Operations Management in 1986; taking two classes in theatre arts. Worked in the aerospace and automotive industries through 1998. Earned a Master of Mangement in Business Adminsitration from Penn State - Great Valley in 1997.Moved to San Diego, CA in 1998 and has worked in the consumer products and defense industries.Returned to acting after a 26 year hiatus in 2009.
