Franco Maicas is an American actor who was born in New Jersey. A self-proclaimed old soul, Franco was mesmerized by the great actors and filmmakers that came before him. At the age of thirteen, he began training at The Barrow Group in Manhattan, New York. He later continued his training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Stonestreet Studios and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.While attending college, Franco was cast in his first feature film, The Zombie Club (2020) as the lead 'Justin Hershog.' Filming took place in West Virginia over the course of the summer.In 2021, Franco was cast in Ray Romano's directorial debut, Somewhere in Queens (2022). The film debuted at The Tribeca Film Festival on June 10, 2022. Franco stars as 'Luigi,' opposite of Romano, Laurie Metcalf, Sebastian Maniscalco, Tony Lo Bianco and June Gable.In 2022, Franco was cast in Jennifer Esposito's upcoming film, Fresh Kills (2022) as 'Frankie.' The film is in post-production.
