Flavia Moraes is a film producer, director, editor, and innovator. For 21 years as the head of one of the most important production companies in South America, she brought together the ideas, clients, and talent to create an impressive number of commercials, feature and documentary films, TV series and major concerts.One of the first Brazilians to join the Director's Guild of America she has been honored with Cannes Lions, Clio, FIAP and Caborés awards. Most recently, as the Head of Innovation for RBS Group, one of Brazil's largest Communication conglomerate, Flavia spearheaded a worldwide study, "The Communication (R)evolution," synthesizing insights and ideas about technology, communication and entertainment that guided the group's transformation from a traditional communication culture into a future-focused company. The study culminated in a TEDx presentation. She also led the creation of OCTO, an experimental and forward-thinking multimedia channel that melds new technology, social trends, and traditional media. Flavia is now focused on projects that inspire transformation and other ways of thinking: "Mr. Dreamer", her latest documentary, is about to premier on the main Brazilian streaming platforms, and with "Visions in the Dark", her latest project in post-production, Flavia Moraes is finally allowing herself to create unconventional and liberating narratives.
