Raised on the island of Jamaica, she is a classically trained ballerina who began to dance at the age of 4. She received several scholarships to highly revered dance schools, and trained extensively with Mikhail Barysnikov. At the age of 17, while rehearsing for the ballet 'Giselle' at The Miami Conservatory, Fiona severely injured the lower portion of her spine, thus ending her illustrious career as a prima ballerina. Now, as the Vice President of Business Development, Nite Owl Productions, Ltd., she is an Emmy nominated actress with an extensive list of credits in television, film and theatre. She recently created and developed a syndicated talk show, 'Tea With Fi', for the Romance Classics cable network (WE Network) and served as both the executive producer as well as the host of the show. She is currently a principal actress on the ABC Daytime Drama 'One Life to Live' playing the role of Gabrielle Medina. Fiona is also the CEO and Founder of Grundgie Productions, Inc., an entertainment based production company located in New York City. She has developed and created a number of television shows. She has also developed scripts and plays for various production houses.
