Algerian-born actor Fethi Bendida realized his childhood dream of becoming an actor when he moved to the United States in 2000. He studied under acting coach Michael fennimore .Fethi has had dynamic roles in numerous feature-length and short films, and has also performed in several stage plays. In 2004, he made his debut as a supporting actor in The Fines. In 2006, he had a supporting role in the stage play A View from the Bridge, a story about two cousins who enter the United States illegally.In 2007, Fethi appeared in the film, Lyrics of My Life, which screened at Cannes and the Boston International Film Festival. He was Assistant Director on the feature-length film, Walls Have Ears (2008, Dir. Patrick Jerome), where he also played a supporting role. The film screened at the Boston International Film Festival and the Hollywood Black Film Festival.In 2009 Fethi impressed audiences and critics with his first lead role in The Green Card, which he also wrote and directed. New to the film festival circuit, the film has already received the Rising Star Award at the 2010 Canada International Film Festival.In 2009 Fethi graduated from the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University's film school.
