Fernando Lara was born in Laredo, Texas to a Mexican Indian mother and an Apache Native-American father. Fernando first walked onto the stage at the age of 4 at George Washington Carver Elementary school in Dallas, Texas. He has continued his stage career to this very day, working in every capacity in theater, from Actor, Stage Manager, Producer and Sound Designer. Fernando made his television debut at the age of 5, appearing on the first three episodes of Sesame Street. Since graduating from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in 1982, Fernando has appeared in many films, Fernando also works behind the scenes in the film industry and to this day has produced 2 films. Fernando is in pre-production to produce 4 more films in 2012 and 2013.
