He entered Istanbul Municipal Conservatory at the age of 19 for 30 years and worked at Istanbul Radio for 33 years. The artist, who suffered a cerebral hemorrhage in his house in Harbiye , could not be brought back to life after 1 month of treatment and died at the age of 81 in the hospital where he was taken , and was buried in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery .
