Fahriye studied sociology for one year in Germany. At age 19, she moved to Turkey where she studied history at Bogaziçi University in Istanbul, graduating in 2014. Fahriye speaks Turkish, English, German and Spanish fluently. On December 23, 2016 she got engaged to Burak Özcivit.
