Eulalia Montero

Eulalia Montero was born on Jun 10, 1923 in Spain. Eulalia Montero's big-screen debut came with Rostro al mar directed by Carlos Serrano de Osma in 1951.

Singer who turned briefly into a capable movie actress during the early 1950's. Her best remembered film is "Rostro al mar" (1951), directed by Carlos Serrano de Osma on a script by Julio Coll and Antonio Ferrer. "Rostro al mar" was quite unique for the time since it dealt with a young Republican family on the run during the last days of the Spanish Civil War. Unfortunately, the actress was not offered other opportunities to shine and her subsequent work was in a few lusterless productions. Miss Montero was residing in Barcelona when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer in 2005. Since she had never married and had no children, her relatives placed her at an Alzheimer facility in her native city of Bilbao where she passed away four years later.
