Erik David Barber grew up in the small town of Mullica Hill, New Jersey. It was here that he developed a love for acting at a very young age. Starring in school plays and homemade films, he was destined for a career in the arts. He attended the University of Bridgeport on a baseball scholarship, and while in school, was offered a small role on the long running daytime drama All My Children. He began taking acting classes in New York and appeared in numerous stage productions and short films.
