He also co-produced and starred in the short film "A Man's Story" which won the Impact Shorts Award at the Reelwolrd Film Festival. Some of Kabongo's TV credits include a lead in '21 Thunder' (Netflix), Star Trek Voyager (CBS), V-Wars (Netflix), and Ransom (CBS). Kabongo was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, raised in South Africa and grew up in Toronto. He turned down a basketball scholarship to pursue an acting career.
