Elin is a writer and director from Finland. After she got her BA in media in Helsinki she continued her studies in the US where she got her masters degree in filmmaking from The New York Film Academy in 2011. After graduation she moved back to Helsinki where she directed the tween TV-series Fanny for the National Broadcasting Company YLE. Continuing that relationship she wrote and directed the TV series Summer Camp (2017) and Steffi (2018), commissioned by YLE. Her first feature length project Bloodsuckers was selected as one of seven Nordic projects to take part in the Nordic Film and TV fund's Genre Boost 2015, the project also took part at the Frontières Intl Co-Production Market in Brussels in 2016.
