Efthymis Hatzis

Efthymis Hatzis was born on May 23, 1965 in Greece. Efthymis Hatzis's big-screen debut came with Shores of Twilight directed by Efthymis Hatzis in 1998.

Efthimios Hatzis grew up in the Bronx, New York. He studied Visual Communication and Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and then pursued studies in Filmmaking at New York University, where he obtained a Master of Fine Arts. He went to his country of descent, Greece for the shooting of one of his films, and has been living there ever since. He has created over 60 fictional shorts in the National program "Let's Cinema" with adolescents.
