Edward was born in Boston, Massachusetts in the fall of 1970 and grew up in neighboring Cambridge. He attended Wheaton College and studied at the Berklee College of Music. His big break into Hollywood came when he was cast in James Cameron's blockbuster hit, Titanic (1997) as 6th Officer Moody. Edward took some time off from acting in the early 2000s to pursue other interests, particularly his artwork, which has been featured in art shows and galleries throughout the country. As of 2016, Edward has returned to acting, auditioning for roles as well as pursuing one of his other interests, music with his band, Stuntplane.
