Edmond Hall was born on May 15, 1901 in USA. Edmond Hall's big-screen debut came with High Society directed by Charles Walters in 1956, strarring Louis' Clarinetist.
Clarinetist, composer and teacher, and a member of the bands of Buddy Petit, Mat Thomas, Alonzo Ross, Billy Fowler, Charlie Skeets, Claude Hopkins, Lucky Millinder, Billy Hicks, Zutty Singleton, Joe Sullivan, Red Allen, Teddy Wilson, Eddie Condon, and Lionel Hampton. He toured the USA, Australia and Europe with Louis Armstrong in 1955. He also had his own orchestra, and in 1959 he performed and furthermore educated and taught in Ghana. Joining ASCAP in 1959, his popular-song/instrumental compositions included "Celestial Express" and "Uptown Cafe Blues".
