Dominik Locher was born on Aug 01, 1982 in Switzerland. Dominik Locher's big-screen debut came with Tempo Girl directed by Dominik Locher in 2013.
The award-winning writer/director grew up as the eldest son of a bricklayer and a caregiver in the Swiss Alps. After various jobs as a construction worker, mover, circus entertainer and tabloid journalist, Dominik made his passion his life's work. Since 2013, he has directed numerous plays and two feature films. His second feature, Goliath, screened in the 2017 "Concorso Internationale" of the Locarno Film Festival. His main focus is currently on social dramas with a genre touch.
