Domenico Ciolfi was born in Milan in 1970. He has a degree in History of the Cinema from Department of Arts, Music and Cinema at University in Bologna and he studied at the Faculty of Science of Information at the University Complutense in Madrid (Erasmus project). His artistic work spans the fields of television, cinema and theatre, ranging from long films to documentaries, from musical videos to adverts and even writing for the cinema and television. He has realized many productions for the main broadcasters and television companies: Rai, Mediaset, Ballandi Entertainment, DeaKids, and Sky among others. He is known for directing the televisions show "Viva Radio 2 minuti" with Rosario Fiorello and Marco Baldini for RaiUno and the live television specials of "Viva Radio 2" for RaiUno and Raisat Extra. In the advertising world he has directed many publicity campaigns for television and cinema for Fiat, Intesa SanPaolo, Trenitalia, Jaguar, New Holland. His debut in cinema direction was marked by "Passaggio a Vuoto" in 2000, after a long period of experience on various sets. He has received important acknowledgements for the many short films and music videos that he has produced. In 2003 he founded a production company for cinema and television Mr. Arkadin Film, with whom he has created and produced features films, TV formats and series.
