Dogu Yücel was born on Apr 15, 1977 in Turkey. Dogu Yücel's big-screen debut came with Okul directed by Durul Taylan in 2004.
He graduated from Dokuz Eylul University, Department of Economics. He has a Cinema TV master's degree from Istanbul University.He received success awards in 1997 Youth Bookstore Short Story Competition and 1998 Nostromo Short Science Fiction Story Competition. His first story book, "Düsler, Kabuslar ve Gelecek Masallari / Dreams, Nightmares and Tales of the Future", which includes his award-winning stories, was published in 2000.After writing for a year and a half for Non Serviam magazine, she worked on Radikal Saturday and Sunday supplements. He continued his music journalism at Blue Jean.His second book in the novel, "Hayalet Kitap / Ghost Book", was published by Studio Imge in 2002. He adapted Ghost Book, which takes place on the campus of Dokuz Eylul University, from which he graduated, into a horror-comedy set in high school. Taylan Brothers directed the movie named "Okul / School".In 2006, he wrote the script of Taylan Brothers' second film, "Kücük Kiyamet / Little Apocalypse".His novel "Varolmayanlar / The Nonexistent" was published by Dogan Kitap on September 7, 2011.He was among the founders of Fantasy and Science Fiction Arts Association (FABISAD) in 2011. The same year, the 10th anniversary special edition of "Hayalet Kitap / Ghost Book" was published in Dogan Kitap, as reviewed by the author.His second short story book "Günes Hirsizlari / Sun Thieves" was published in 2014.In 2017, "Kimdie bu Mithat Kahraman? / Who is this Mitat Karaman?" Her novel was published in 2019 by Can Publishing, a story book called "Öldügünü Google'dan Ögrenen Adam / The Man Who Learned From Google That He Was Dead".
