Born in 1983 in Uman, Ukraine. Graduated from the Architecture faculty of Chernivtsi Technical College (2002) and from the faculty of Philosophy and Theology of Chernivtsy National University (Bachelor degree, 2007). In 2013 graduated from Kyiv National Karpenko-Karyy University of Theatre, Cinema and Television, specializing in feature film direction. While studying, made several award-winning short films, many of which were official selected on international film festivals. Student film Boroda (2012) became part of short film almanac "Ukraine, Goodbye!" and entered the "Ukrainian New Wave", anthology collecting best short films of Ukraine in 2012. The script of said short took the main award in script section of "Coronation of the Word" (National Scripts Festival; Kyiv 2012). After completing the film school, participated in Toronto Film Lab (Script&Pitch) in 2016. Organizer of the Ukrainian Script Platform «TERRARIUM». First live action short film after completion of the film school, Weightlifter (2018) took several major film awards in Ukraine.
