Dmitry Frolov was born in Leningrad in 1966. In 1990 he graduated from the University of Cinema and Television. He worked as an assistant to the operator and operator of the studio "Lentelefilm", the operator of the television company "Black Quadrate Television" (Great Britain), the film company "STV", etc. From the beginning of the 80s he was shooting author's cinema.
