Dinko Tucakovic

Dinko Tucakovic was born on Jun 07, 1960 in Yugoslavia. Dinko Tucakovic's big-screen debut came with Gymkata directed by Robert Clouse in 1985. Dinko Tucakovic is known for Zabranjeni bez zabrane directed by Milan Nikodijevic, Karpo Acimovic-Godina stars as Self and Borislav Andjelic as Self. The upcoming new movie Dinko Tucakovic plays is The Tenor which will be released on Oct 11, 2014.

Born in 1960. Zenica (ex SFR Yugoslavia). He finished grammar school in Sarajevo (1978), and Faculty of dramatic arts in Belgrade (1984), group for film and TV directing.Film theorist and critic, wrote for all main Yugoslav magazines, and Positiff and Sight And Sound as well. Author of the several film books, Tajni Zivot Filma (The Secret Life Of Film), 1993; Stranci U Raju (Strangers in Paradise), 1998... Has worked as a selector of the several national film festivals, member of the juries Fipresci in Annecy , Vienna, Cannes, Mannheim,...His films has attended international film festivals, Berenice (Madrid), Six Days in June (Selb), The Letter (Berlin), Jasmina und der Krieg (Venice), The State of the Dead (Munich),...He has won several prizes on national and international film festivals.Chair of the Board and the selector of the FEST (Belgrade International Film Festival) 1997-2002. Works as film critic for the BLIC magazine.Guest lecturer on history of cinema and film direction on Faculty of Dramatic Arts (Belgrade).Programming director of Yugoslav Film Archives (Jugoslovenska Kinoteka) from 1989.Member of the EC of the ACE (2002-2004). Member of Programming commission of the FIAF. Chief editor of publishing branch of Yugoslav Film Archives.Also has done more than 100 programs for TV and around 30 clips for Yugoslav R'n'R bands.
