Devon Alan

Devon Alan was born on Jul 07, 1991 in USA. Devon Alan's big-screen debut came with Simon Birch directed by Mark Steven Johnson in 1998, strarring Junior Lamb.

At six years old Devon won a role in the feature film Simon Birch (1998). The following year, he was cast in his first major role playing Reba McEntire's son in the CBS Movie Special Le Coeur Sur la Main (1999). Some of his credits include the role of "Max" in Stephen King's miniseries, Firestarter: Sous l'emprise du feu (2002); guest-starring in Les Experts (2000), Blind Justice (2005), Associées pour la loi (1999), and Hôpital central (1963) plus roles in Urgences (1994) and Dharma & Greg (1997). At the age of nine, Devon was cast in an independent film, Throttle (2002), and shortly thereafter, he won the lead role in It's Better to Be Wanted for Murder Than Not to Be Wanted at All (2003), a 20th Century-Fox Searchlab's short film, for which he received a Young Artists Award nomination for "Best Actor in a Short Film". At eleven, he flew to Russia, where he played opposite Anne Archer, as a mysterious Russian street boy, in the dramatic thriller, The Iris Effect (2005). Six months later, Devon was cast from a nationwide search, to co-star as Tim Munn in United Artists' suspense-thriller, L'autre rive (2004), winning the 2005 Young Artists Award for his amazing performance as a sickly Southern boy with eating disorders.Devon received his BA in Film in college. He then went on to Law School, passed the Bar, and went on to receive his Master of Laws in Data Privacy and Cyber Security. When not working, Devon enjoys writing and outdoor sports, such as backpacking, hiking, and river rafting.
