Dennis Jürgensen
Dennis Jürgensen was born on Feb 03, 1961 in Denmark. Dennis Jürgensen's big-screen debut came with Sidste time directed by Martin Schmidt in 1995.
Dennis Juergensen was a lazy person in his early years. In 1978 when he graduated from lower secondary school he did not want to study further. A seven-hour working day on the other hand was uninteresting, so after a few jobs he began to write novels. None were published, but he kept writing and trying to get a publisher. He found out, that writing in fact was something which required hard steady work for the rest of his career if he wanted one. In 1981 if finally happened. The book was called "Kaerlighed ved foerste hik" (Love at first hiccup) and is still one of his most popular books. Time went on and he kept writing. Socialist realism, comedy, science fiction, horror, fantasy, and detective novels were all genres he tried writing. After he had written 31 books in 14 years he wrote his first script. It was called "Sidste time" (Final lesson) and became a medium succes. Considering the profit, the producer asked him to make another script. In 1996 the film was finished. It was called "Moerkeleg" (Backstabbed). Both films were later piblished as books.
