Born in Arlington, Virginia on November 10, 1986 Denea grew up in Seattle, Washington. She attended the Seattle Centre High School and studied acting for film and television at Northwest Actor's Studio. Throughout her childhood and teens she performed in local theatre and was a featured extra (credited as "Martie") on the feature film Living Life. At age 17 Denea auditioned and was accepted into Sydney, Australia's prestigious Newtown High School of the Performing Arts requiring her to relocate. After leaving school Denea was hired into an airline causing another relocation to Melbourne, Australia. Since moving to Melbourne she has performed the lead in a number of short films and commercials including the upcoming "Physical Graffiti".
